Our Story
WineStorage HQ was founded by two wine enthusiasts - Stef and Nick.
Our paths to wine were different, but they led to the same place.
Stef grew up in an Italo-Spanish family where wine was simply part of life. Every harvest season meant traveling to southern Italy, where her father and grandfather still produced wine on a small piece of family land.
Nothing industrial.
Nothing complicated.
Just tradition.
Grapes picked by hand.
Barrels quietly aging in cool stone rooms.
And sometimes grapes crushed the old-fashioned way - barefoot, surrounded by family.
Wine wasn’t a luxury in those moments.
It was heritage, patience, and family bottled together.
Nick’s journey came from another angle. As an engineer and lifelong wine enthusiast, he became fascinated not only by tasting wine, but by collecting it and understanding how the environment transforms a bottle over time.
Temperature.
Humidity.
Light exposure.
Vibration.
The science behind proper wine storage and coolers became just as interesting as the wine itself.
When we met in 2013 and got married, what started as a shared interest quickly turned into a shared passion - and eventually a shared project.

It started with a shared passion for wine - the stories behind the bottles, the places they come from, and the moments they create when opened.
For us, wine has never been just a drink.
It’s culture, patience, craftsmanship, and connection.

That’s why we created WineStorage HQ: to help wine lovers protect, showcase, and enjoy their collections with storage solutions worthy of the wine they hold.

Our curiosity pushed us far beyond one vineyard.
We traveled to better understand how wine is made, stored, and appreciated across the world.
In France and Spain, we saw centuries-old traditions still shaping modern winemaking.
In Italy, we experienced family vineyards passed down through generations.
In South Africa, we discovered bold terroirs producing remarkable wines.
In California, innovation met heritage in fascinating ways.
And in Australia, climate and craftsmanship created world-class vintages.
Every region taught us something new : not just about wine, but about the conditions that allow it to reach its full potential.
One lesson became clear everywhere we went: Great wine needs the right environment.
